The game is quite confusing for newbies to mahjong... The CGs are used as prize for winning a game... they arn't many and are so-so to me...  Heres a sample CG I got... EDITED BY RIKIFISH, SUPERMOD - Um, hi. Please don't post any CGs from this game here. Thank you. All the samples anyone would need can come from Masanori's site. It's a fair rule, since the main draw of the game are the CGs and the $15 go directly too Masanori. We gotta support our favorite Kinniku artists!! |

Please don't post any CGs from this game here.
We have to support our favorite artists, especially Masanori.
And the money Masanori gets from the game are totally from direct sales.

Nothing against you dude, but posting free CGs from the game here or anywhere else certainly isn't going to help Masanori out at all. It definitely wont convince the hundreds of cheap asses who refuse to actually pay for anything either. If anything, the only thing it would do is open the flood gates for those same cheap asses to beg and plead for more free pics. Also, Masanori has done more than enough to promote this game by having a section on his site about it. And there is a CG preview there. The one with Batsu. So there.  |

Oh Tenka, we all know how you're little picture stole from Masanori It's a cruel world out there. But don't worry, as long as Rikifish is out there doing all this good for companies and telling people not to post a picture or two... we'll all be better off. Because you just KNOW how many people come here, and how much of an influence this little board has right now. I'm sure almost everyone would of seen your picture and would of said "Jesus, luh, dat there is sum hot piece o ass. I'm not buying the game now cuz I saw everythi8ng in it by one pictur." My point has been made. |

I think the moderator will kill this board with attitude like him. I think posting a picture or two is ok, and moderator are there to make sure it doesnt get out of control. If it gets out of control then at that point use your power to control it but I dont think being that strict will do this board any good. Tenka did not mean bad by posting that pic, and if other come in and beg for pics then just dont give them any. is it that hard?
DJ, me sorprende qué tu no has dicho nada de este caso. ¿No piensa que los moderadores deben estar aquí para moderar y no dictar? Si sé que hay reglas a seguir y todo eso, pero éste es demasiado extremo justo...

There are rules on this forum.
But a major mistake here is that there aren't any rules posted up anywhere for visitors to reviews them, but I'm sure that this is something that is going to be changed very soon.
I want everyone to understand something.
DJ can back me up on all of this, the act of me removing the picture is a direct result from conversations that I have had with DJ about what the rules of this forum should be.
In this case, the particular rule that was broken would be something along the lines of: "There will be no posting of CG found in commercial games."
That may seem strange to some of you, but believe me, there is a perfectly valid reason and concern (for myself and DJ both) behind this rule. Something everyone should hopefully understand in the future.
Also, I'm not shocked that DJ didn't say anything. My best guess is that he doesn't want to be seen as the big bad guy around here, and I really have no problem doing the unpopular stuff that needs to be done. This forum was created with a purpose and goal in mind, and I am only doing my part in what needs to be done to ensure that remains in tact.

Ah, dang..Just when I was going to beg and plead. ;D

What about those that are already released by the artist(s) as promos such as those in ads or in their own site? Are those okay?
(Somebody should make a thread in Suggestions to discuss the rules.)
(And we should be able to say d-a-m-n. It's not like there's 12 year old around here.)
(Or at least, there shouldn't be.)
